Robinhood and TradePMR have announced a series of new products and services aimed at Registered Investment Advisers (RIAs), introducing advisor referrals, artificial intelligence tools, and expanded investment opportunities for advisors and their clients.
The announcements include the launch of the Robinhood Advisor Network, the introduction of Robinhood Cortex for Advisors, and plans to provide TradePMR advisors with access to IPOs and Robinhood Ventures offerings through the Fusion platform.
Steve Quirk, Chief Brokerage Officer at Robinhood, said the collaboration combines Robinhood’s technology with TradePMR’s advisory expertise to support advisors and investors. TradePMR founder and general manager Robb Baldwin added that the initiatives are designed to help independent advisors grow their businesses while delivering additional value to clients.
The Robinhood Advisor Network, scheduled to begin rolling out to a small group of eligible customers next week, is an in-app referral marketplace that connects Robinhood users with independent fiduciary advisors who custody assets through TradePMR.
Customers using the service will complete a questionnaire that assesses their financial goals and circumstances before receiving personalized advisor matches. The process, from the initial introduction through account opening and funding, will take place within the Robinhood app. Clients who work with an advisor through the network will also be able to view both self-directed and professionally managed assets in a single interface.
Robinhood also introduced Robinhood Cortex for Advisors, an AI-powered platform integrated into TradePMR’s Fusion system. The tool is going to automate administrative tasks and assist advisors with client management.
Features include AI-generated portfolio summaries, meeting preparation support, performance insights, tax-related observations, automated meeting summaries, and task management capabilities. The service will be available to TradePMR advisors at no additional cost, with rollout beginning soon.
In addition, TradePMR advisors are going to gain access to future public offerings from Robinhood Ventures, providing exposure to private-market investments. Advisors will also receive access to IPO allocations through a program similar to Robinhood Financial’s IPO Access offering.
The companies also introduced a Flexible RIA Incentive Program alongside adjusted margin and securities-backed lending rates, measures intended to improve advisor economics and expand client financing options.
