IC has highlighted execution quality, trading infrastructure and risk management as key areas of focus during its participation at Forex Expo Dubai 2026.
The broker took part in the event at Dubai World Trade Centre on September 22–23, joining more than 16,000 traders, brokers and industry professionals on the opening day. IC MENA General Manager Jason Hughes participated in an executive interview and a leadership panel focused on the changing expectations of traders and brokers.
Hughes argued that market access alone is becoming less significant as a differentiator between brokers. Instead, he pointed to execution, technology, connectivity, infrastructure and reliability as increasingly important factors, particularly during periods of heightened market volatility.
IC said it continues to invest in execution infrastructure, connectivity and access to liquidity, with the objective of maintaining consistent trading performance when market conditions become more challenging.
The company also highlighted changes in the UAE’s trading market, where traders are increasingly exposed to multiple asset classes and international markets. According to Hughes, the growing use of automation, advanced trading tools and multi-asset strategies is raising expectations around the technology and services provided by brokers.
The discussion extended beyond execution during the September 23 leadership panel, titled “Running FX and Crypto Risk from a Well-Tested UAE Hub.” Hughes joined other industry executives to examine how brokerages can respond when geopolitical developments, policy announcements and social-media activity trigger rapid market movements.
Risk management during extreme volatility was a central theme, including how quickly brokers should adjust their risk posture and how liquidity and client exposure can be managed when market conditions deteriorate.
IC also used its presence at the expo to showcase a TGR Haas F1 Team show car and a racing simulator, linking the display to the company’s focus on performance under pressure.
During the event, IC was famous as “World’s Most Trusted Broker” at the Forex Expo Dubai 2026 awards. The recognition comes as the broker continues expanding its presence across international markets.
Founded in Australia in 2007, IC offers trading across forex, indices, commodities, stocks, bonds and cryptocurrencies. The company said it serves traders in more than 200 countries and continues to invest in technology and infrastructure as it expands across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
