Interactive Brokers Group has released its key operating metrics for July 2025, showcasing robust growth across all major categories and reinforcing its strong performance trajectory.

The brokerage reported 3.498 million Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs) for July, marking a 27% increase compared to July 2024 and a 1% rise from June 2025. This sustained growth reflects heightened customer activity and broader engagement across trading platforms.

Client equity reached a record $685.8 billion, representing a 35% year-over-year jump and a 3% increase from the previous month. Meanwhile, client margin loan balances totaled $67.6 billion, showing a 20% year-over-year increase and 4% monthly growth.

The total number of client accounts rose to 3.958 million, an impressive 32% gain over July 2024 and 2% more than in June. The average commission per cleared Commissionable Order stood at $2.64, inclusive of exchange, clearing, and regulatory fees.

This surge in operational activity follows a strong second-quarter performance. Interactive Brokers reported and adjusted diluted earnings per share of $0.51, alongside net revenues of $1,480 million, and income before income taxes of $1,104 million — both reported and adjusted.

Commission revenue surged 27% to $516 million, driven by significantly higher customer trading volumes. In particular, trading volumes grew by 31% in stocks, 24% in options, and 18% in futures year-over-year.

These figures underscore Interactive Brokers’ continued momentum in a competitive brokerage landscape, fueled by technological strength, low-cost trading solutions, and increased global client participation. With sustained gains in client equity, margin activity, and account growth, the firm appears well-positioned for continued expansion through the remainder of 2025.
