Interactive Brokers continues to improve its PortfolioAnalyst platform, providing clients and financial professionals with advanced tools to enhance portfolio management. The latest updates include a customizable Value at Risk (VAR) report section and a VAR widget available directly on the dashboard. These enhancements aim to offer a more in-depth risk assessment, helping users better understand and manage the volatility of their investments.

A standout addition is the Commentary Generator, powered by generative AI, which now automatically creates monthly reports for clients. The AI scrapes and cites numerous sources, streamlining research that typically takes hours into seconds. Advisors can edit the generated reports and easily download them as PDFs for distribution.

In addition, PortfolioAnalyst now provides a streamlined way for Advisors and Brokers to connect external accounts with IBKR. They can send clients an email with instructions on linking these accounts, enabling them to aggregate both IBKR and external assets in a single view within PortfolioAnalyst. This feature enhances efficiency by consolidating client portfolios, making it easier for financial professionals to monitor and advise.

Recent improvements have also been made to the Retirement Planning tool. Available in the Planning tab, this feature allows advisors and brokers to create tailored retirement plans for clients. These plans can be viewed, edited, and deleted within a unified interface with a powerful search function for professionals managing multiple clients.
