Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ: IBKR) has announced the opening of its new office in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), marking a strategic move to expand its presence in the Middle East.

The new office will serve as a hub for clients across the region, offering a wide range of brokerage services to active traders, high-net-worth investors, and wealth management institutions such as local banks, hedge funds, and family offices. Through this expansion, Interactive Brokers aims to provide these clients with its signature cost-effective access to global market trading, competitive pricing, and advanced trading tools.

Licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) with a Category 4 license, the new office will function as a branch of Interactive Brokers’ UK operations, facilitating access to various brokerage and investment services. This new branch will cater to clients in the DIFC and the broader Middle East, allowing local investors to benefit from the company’s cutting-edge trading technology.

With the ability to trade across 150 markets worldwide, clients of Interactive Brokers will have the opportunity to invest in global stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds, and funds, all from a single platform. However, this diversity allows investors to build robust, diversified portfolios and manage risks associated with geopolitical or economic fluctuations.
