Interactive Brokers has expanded its global trading reach with the announcement that eligible clients outside of Brazil can now trade Brazilian equities directly through B3, the Brazilian Stock Exchange. The move broadens access to one of Latin America’s most active financial markets and strengthens the firm’s position as a gateway for global investors seeking diversified exposure across regions and asset classes.

The addition of B3 brings investors closer to opportunities within one of the world’s leading emerging economies. Through a single, unified trading platform, clients can now place trades in Brazilian equities alongside global stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds, and funds. This integration aims to give traders a streamlined experience while exploring new markets with deep liquidity and strong institutional activity.

Interactive Brokers Broadens Emerging Market Access Outside Brazil

B3 is recognized as a highly active and liquid exchange within Latin America, hosting many of Brazil’s top publicly traded companies across sectors such as finance, energy, commodities, and technology. By enabling access to this market, Interactive Brokers continues expanding its global footprint and offering investors direct exposure to regional growth trends. The platform now connects clients to more than 160 markets worldwide.

“Global investors need seamless access to diverse markets to stay competitive,” said Milan Galik, Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Brokers. “By adding Brazil’s B3 Exchange, we’re giving our clients efficient, low-cost access to one of the world’s most dynamic emerging economies through our unified global platform.”

Interactive Brokers already supports funding and trading in up to 28 currencies, and this expansion aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of lowering barriers to international investing. The firm continues to highlight affordability, transparency, and advanced trading tools as core parts of its offering.

While access to Brazilian equities through B3 is now open to eligible global clients, Interactive Brokers clarified that the service is not available to residents of Brazil.

The expansion underscores the firm’s focus on bringing investors closer to global opportunities through a robust and connected trading ecosystem.
