Interactive Brokers Group has announced a collaboration with Daol Investment & Securities to expand eligible Korean investors’ access to global equities through Daol’s investment platform.

Under the agreement, Daol will leverage Interactive Brokers’ trading infrastructure to provide clients with cost-effective access to international markets. The partnership also underscores IBKR’s growing role as a provider of brokerage technology and white-label solutions to introducing brokers and financial institutions worldwide.

The collaboration is going to enhance the investment experience for Daol clients by combining the securities firm’s local market presence with Interactive Brokers’ global trading capabilities. IBKR provides access to a broad range of international markets and financial instruments, supported by its technology infrastructure and competitive pricing model.

Interactive Brokers Partners With Daol to Expand Korean Access

David Friedland, Managing Director for APAC at Interactive Brokers, said the company was pleased to work with Daol to broaden access to global equities for Korean investors.

He highlighted IBKR’s technology, pricing and international market coverage as tools that can help financial institutions improve their operations while expanding the services available to their clients.

For Daol Investment & Securities, the partnership represents a broader push toward developing an international investment platform. BC Lee, Chairman of Daol Investment & Securities, said the initiative is going to give Korean investors a new investment experience through direct connectivity to global securities infrastructure.

Lee added that the cooperation could extend beyond overseas equities, with plans involving broader market access, derivatives and direct investment services for overseas investors in the Korean market.

The companies described the initiative as a long-term, two-way global investment platform rather than a standalone expansion of overseas equity access.

For Korean investors, the partnership could provide greater exposure to international markets through a locally accessible platform, while Daol gains access to established global brokerage infrastructure. For IBKR, the agreement further demonstrates how its technology and institutional solutions can be into the platforms of financial firms seeking to broaden their international investment offerings.
