Tradeweb Markets has expanded its dealer algorithmic execution offering for US Treasuries, adding strategies from Citigroup and RBC Capital Markets to its platform.

The move builds on the US rollout of Tradeweb’s dealer algo capabilities last year and adds new execution options for institutional participants in the Treasury market. With the inclusion of Citi and RBC, clients gain access to a broader set of bank-developed quantitative strategies designed to handle varying liquidity conditions and trading objectives.

The dealer algo suite allows institutional investors to execute Treasury trades over defined time horizons while interacting with key liquidity providers. This setup supports more structured order execution and aims to align trading strategies with specific portfolio goals. Tradeweb is also working toward tighter integration between its execution tools and its proprietary data and analytics, forming a unified multi-dealer, multi-asset framework.

The expanded offering complements Tradeweb’s electronic trading ecosystem, which includes cash and futures spread execution through algorithmic tools. By combining these capabilities, the platform enables users to approach fixed income trading with a wider range of execution styles across different instruments.

Bhas Nalabothula, Managing Director and Head of US Institutional Rates at Tradeweb, said the addition strengthens the firm’s multi-dealer environment and broadens access to bank-sourced strategies. He noted that the ongoing development of algorithmic tools remains central to improving execution efficiency and flexibility for clients.

Jamie Mortimore, Global Head of Rates E-Trading at Citi, highlighted the role of advanced tools in navigating evolving Treasury markets. He said Citi’s algorithms, backed by quantitative research, are designed to deliver precision while offering firm, multi-level pricing for clearer market visibility.

Darcy Greenham, Head of US Rates Trading at RBC Capital Markets, added that the firm’s algorithms combine market intelligence with refined execution methods, supporting improved order management and access to liquidity.

Tradeweb indicated it will continue onboarding additional dealers, aiming to expand liquidity sources and execution diversity across its platform.
